Spring Soccer 2017

The following leagues are FULL:
  • Pre-K Wednesdays at Steep Mountain 
  • Kindergarten Wednesdays at Steep Mountain
  • 3rd-4th Grade Boys
  • 5th-7th Grade Boys

What:

 Features smaller team sizes for more involved play, improved skills, more shots and scoring, etc.

Who:

Boys and girls in Pre-K - 7th grade (2016/2017 school year). Pre-K must be entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2017.

When:

 Games begin the week of April 10, 2017The Coaches meeting will be held March 27, 2017.

Times:

 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m., rotating times

Pre-K-2nd grade = $45 $55 and 
3rd-7th grade = $49 $59 ($10 late fee added)

*Grades/days may be altered due to enrollment and are subject to change. Practices days/times are scheduled by each coach if used and not by the Parks & Recreation Department. 

Registration:

 January 4, 2017 through February 21, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. for online registrations and February 22, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. for in person registrations (or until full, some leagues may fill up sooner).

Late fee of $10.00 charged for all registrations received after 5:00 p.m. on February 22, 2017! 

Online registration is available for individual registrations only with no requests. Registration may also be done in person at the Draper Parks & Recreation Office (1020 E. Pioneer Rd., bottom floor, enter on the west side). 

If you are registering with a friend or as a team, registration must be done in person and all registration forms brought in together and attached. If you are registering with four or more requests or as a team, a team roster must also be submitted with the registration forms and a head coach listed (see below for forms). 

Please do not make requests to play on a team or with a specific player online as they may not be seen and are not guaranteed. If making requests you must do so in person with all forms together. Thank you!

Team Formation:

 Teams will be formed according to public elementary school (Canyon District) boundaries or preferred school choice as much as possible. Those wishing to request friends to be on the same team must register in person and staple registration forms together. Registrations with four or more requests require a volunteer coach and the pre-formed team roster to be filled out and brought in with registrations.

 



Benefits of "Small Sided Soccer":

 More touches on the ball, more shots on the goal, more scoring/fun, better skill development, better utilization of fields, better cardio/active, smaller team sizes, simplified rules (no off-side's), high participation, and more time with the coach.

Program Registration Refund Policy:

  • A $10.00 bookkeeping fee is non-refundable for each program/registration.
  • Refund requests made before the registration period/deadline has ended will receive a full refund minus the $10.00 bookkeeping fee.
  • After the registration period/deadline has ended, a refund of 50% of program fee will be offered.
  • No refunds will be offered once the program has started, beginning with the first class, first lesson, coaches meeting, etc.
